Antonio Cardiello
Antonio Cardiello was born in Italy in 1975. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Lisbo. He is a member of the the Institute of Philosophy of the New University of Lisbon (IFILNOVA), where he is a post-doc fellow researcher. He co-directed the digitization of Fernando Pessoa’s Private Library (online since 2010). António edited Uma Stirpe Incognita (EDB Edizioni, 2016) and co-edited Fernando Pessoa's Personal Library (D. Quixote, 2010), as well as Nietzsche and Pessoa. Essays (Tinta-da-china, 2016). Commissioner of international exhibitions on Fernando Pessoa, he is interested in contemporary Portuguese thought and in the similarities between Western and Eastern philosophical traditions.

António Mega Ferreira
António Mega Ferreira is a writer, journalist and administrator born in Lisbon in 1949. He studied Law and Social Communication and was a professional press and television journalist from 1975 to 1986. He was Editorial Director of the Círculo de Leitores from 1986 to 1988. António Mega Ferreira headed the application for the Expo 98 Lisbon. From 2006 to 2012 he was the chairman of Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation. He is currently Executive Director of AMEC | Metropolitana. As a writer he has more than thirty published works of fiction, essays, poetry and chronicles.

Fernando Cabral Martins
Fernando Cabral Martins is a professor at the Social and Human Sciences Department at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He published the following works: Cesário Verde ou a Transformação do Mundo, Lisboa, Comunicação, 1988; O Modernismo em Mário de Sá-Carneiro, Lisboa, Estampa, 1994; O Trabalho das Imagens, Lisboa, Aríon, 2000; Julio. O Realismo Mágico, Lisboa, Caminho, 2005; Introdução ao Estudo de Fernando Pessoa, Lisboa, Assírio & Alvim, 2014; Mário Cesariny e o Virgem Negra, Lisboa, Documenta, 2016. He was the coordinator of the Dicionário de Fernando Pessoa e do Modernismo Português, Lisboa, Caminho, 2008. He organized anthologies and editions of Luiza Neto Jorge, Mário de Sá-Carneiro and Fernando Pessoa, and also co-edited literary editions of Almada Negreiros and Alexandre O'Neill, as well as the anthology series Pessoa Breve and Almada Breve (Lisbon, Assírio & Alvim).

Jerónimo Pizarro
Professor, translator, reviewer and editor, Jerónimo Pizarro is responsible for most of the new editions and new series of texts of Fernando Pessoa published in Portugal since 2006. He is a professor at the University of the Andes and holder of the Chair of Portuguese Studies of the Camões Institute in Colombia. Pizarro, winner of the Eduardo Lourenço Prize in 2013, reopened Pessoa’s trunk and rediscovered ``Fernando Pessoa’s personal Library``. He was the commissioner of Portugal's visit to the International Book Fair of Bogotá (FILBo) and for several years now has been coordinating the visits of Portuguese-speaking writers to Colombia. Co-editor of the magazine ``Pessoa Plural``, a frequent organizer of colloquiums and exhibitions, he currently directs Pessoa's Collection for the publisher Edições Tinta-da-China.

José Barreto
José Barreto is a sociologist and historian and was a researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lisbon between 1975 and 2015.

Since 2005 he dedicated himself to study Fernando Pessoa's political and sociological writings. Luís Miguel Nogueira Rosa Dias
(Signs his literary works as MIGUEL ROZA)

Luís Miguel Nogueira Rosa Dias was born where today is CASA FERNANDO PESSOA, in Lisbon, on the 1st of January 1931. He lived with Fernando Pessoa, his uncle, until the age of five.

Attended the first 4 years of schooling at the Queen Elyzabeth School (English).

Attended high school in École Française de Lisbonne (French).

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the School of Medicine of Lisbon (1958).

He is a Specialist in General Surgery and in Angiology and Vascular Surgery at the Civil Hospitals of Lisbon. He was one of the founders of Vascular Surgery in Portugal. For two years he was Assistant of Clinical Surgical at the School of Medicine of Lisbon (in Hospital of Santa Marta)

Luís Miguel is the author of the following books:

He was a member of a NGO of Health and Portuguese Language, in the islands of S. Tomé and Príncipe, a member the Association of Fernando Pessoa and a member of the a Psychedelic movement: “A OUTRA FACE DA LUA”

He founded two Rotary Clubs, one of which he was its first President.

Luís Miguel promoted the POETRY MEETINGS OF SANTA MARTA HOSPITAL and for 10 years was part of the Governing Bodies of the League of Friends of the Hospital Santa Marta.

Manuela Nogueira
Manuela Nogueira is Fernando Pessoa’s niece, with whom she lived for long periods of time until she was ten years old. She is often called to testify on matters related to him. Thus, as one of the founding members of the Fernando Pessoa Association, she participated in activities related to he uncle’s work.

In addition to the general course of secondary schools, she is fluent both in English and French. Due to a constant curiosity she attended numerous small courses: Short Stories course at the Regent Institute in London. Courses at the IADE Ceramics (Mestre Calado), Painting and Drawing (Mestre Lima de Freitas) and History of Art (Prof. Dr. António Quadros).

She worked as a freelancer in real estate for twenty-five years.

As a writer she is the author of several Short stories, Novels and Poetry books:

Manuela Parreira da Silva
Manuela Parreira da Silva is a professor at the Department of Portuguese Studies of the Social Sciences and School of Human Sciences of Nova University of Lisbon. She teaches Portuguese Culture of the 20th century, Pessoa’s Studies and Modernism Studies. As a researcher she studies the archives of Fernando Pessoa and of the artist Almada Negreiros. Pablo Javier Pérez López
(Valladolid, Spain, 1983). Ph.D in Philosophy by the University of Valladolid. Pablo is the author of several publications and editions related to the philosophical, aesthetic and Iberian dimension of Fernando Pessoa and also to the poetic thought, the will of illusion, the tragic knowledge and philosophy of Portuguese culture. He is collaborator of the cultural supplement “La sombra del ciprés” and El Norte de Castilla. He has also published several books of poems and has translated several writers and poets of Portuguese language, among them Eduardo Lourenço and António Osório.

Patrícia Nazaré Barbosa
Patrícia Nazaré Barbosa is an artist and an astrologer born in 1974 in Santarém. She graduated from FBAUL in Fine Arts-Painting. She has been exhibiting since 1997. Patrícia started her Astrological studies at the age of 33 and since then works as an astrologer, along with her career in the arts. Patrícia has been practicing counseling for 7 years. She is the author of 'Mandala Astrológica 2013' and 'Calendário 4 Estações', published by Associação Portuguesa de Astrologia (2014 and 2015). Both projects combine astrology and visual arts through info graphic design.

Pedro Sepúlveda
Post-doctoral researcher at the IELT research unit of FCSH at Nova University of Lisbon, where he also teaches. He taught courses as a Guest Professor at FCSH-UNL, FLUL and University of Cologne. His research focuses on literary and philosophical modernity, with a particular emphasis on Fernando Pessoa's work. He coordinates the research project ``Estranhar Pessoa``, financed by FCT between 2013 and 2015 (see http://estranharpessoa.com/) and since 2017 the IELT Editorial Board. He published the essay from his doctoral dissertation Os Livros de Fernando Pessoa (Ática, 2013) and a study and anthology of Pessoa's editorial projects, Fernando Pessoa's editorial planning (co-authored with Jorge Uribe, INCM, 2016). He has also worked as a translator of German-speaking authors and as an editor of Pessoa’s work. He is currently coordinating a digital edition of Fernando Pessoa’s projects and lifetime publications.

Pedro Lencastre Teixeira da Mota
Graduate in Law by Universidade Clássica de Lisboa. Yoga and meditation teacher.

In 1988 and 1989 co-directed the Associação Waldorf de Lisboa.

After a long research on Fernando Pessoa's estate in the National Library, Pedro Lencastre Teixeira da Mota published in 1988 and 1989 the “Agenda do Centenário de Fernando Pessoa” and “Livro da Sabedoria Portuguesa”, as well as four other unpublished books by “Fernando Pessoa: Moral, Regras de Vida e Condições de Iniciação”; “A Grande Alma Portuguesa”; “A Rosea Cruz” and Poesia Profética, Mágica e Espiritual.

He published in 1998 “O Livro dos Descobrimentos do Oriente e do Ocidente”, a book about the five hundred years of the Portuguese discovery of the sea route to India. Between 2003 and 2005 he was co-founded, with Sofia Costa Quintas and Célia Costa Cabral, the Livraria and Galeria Pessoas e Saberes, in Lisbon, where he held conferences and courses.

In 2006 published a commented translation of the Sanskrit text “Ashtavakra Gita” and in 2008, with Álvaro Pereira Mendes, he translated to Portuguese “Conversing with God”, by Erasmus of Rotterdam, published by Publicações Maitreya. Also in 2008 he collaborated with twelve entries to the “Dicionário de Fernando Pessoa e do Modernismo Português”, coordinated by Fernando Cabral Martins and published by Caminho.

In 2010 participated in the collective exhibition of fine arts entitled ``Love is Blind``, with manual artist books, in the gallery of Carlos Barroco and Nadia, Novo Século. In May of 2015 he published a book of thirty-three essays entitled “Da Alma ao Espírito” in Maitreya, a publisher from Porto, with manual artist books.

In June of 2015 co-write the preface of Fernando Pessoa’s poetry book “Mensagem”. The edition includes illustrations by 25 artists, was coordinated by José Maria Ribeirinho and it was published by Prelo Arte.

From 1994 to 2017 he has worked as a specialist of old books, cataloguing and commenting, in some Lisbon second hand bookshops and auction houses.

He has given numerous conferences on Spirituality.

He collaborated in newspapers and magazines, such as Público, Raiz e Utopia, Arte e Opinião, Nova Renascença, Arte Ibérica, Agenda Cultural de Lisboa, Singularidades, Ar Livre, Nova Águia, Artes e Letras, Transdisciplinar, Pessoa Plural (nº 9, Oriente).

He investigates the Perennial Tradition, the Portuguese Spiritual Tradition and the links between modern science and consciousness. He is also deepening his meditation practice and studying the mysteries of the human being, of the subtle Cosmos and the Divinity.

Richard Zenith was born in the United States and moved to Portugal in 1987. He is a researcher, essayist and organizer of numerous editions of Fernando Pessoa. He is also known as a translator – of Camões, Pessoa and other recent poets.

Rita Patrício
Rita Patrício is a professor at the University of Minho. She is also an IELT collaborating researcher (FCSH), integrating the team of ``Estranhar Pessoa`` project. She edited, with Jerónimo Pizarro, in 2006, “Obras de Jean Seul de Méluret” (critical edition of Fernando Pessoa). In 2012 she published “Episódios. Da Teorização Estética em Fernando Pessoa”, and in 2016 “Notas: Pessoa, Nemésio, Drummond.”

Steffen Dix
Steffen Dix studied Religious Studies, Philosophy, and Portuguese Philology and earned a Ph.D degree from the University of Tübingen.

In recent years he has worked at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ICS-UL) on modernism in Fernando Pessoa (particularly in relation to his theoretical writings) and on the theory of secularization. With regard to these two scientific interests, he organized various academic events in Portugal and abroad, participated in international projects and published his research in academic journals and international publishers. He is directing the edition of the Complete Work of Fernando Pessoa in Germany (in Fischer-Verlag).

He is currently the executive coordinator of the Centre for Research in Theology and Religion Studies at Universidade Católica (CITER-UCP) where he researches on the relationship between modernism and religious transformations in the 20th century.

Teresa Rita Lopes
Rita Lopes is a writer and researcher mainly of Fernando Pessoa’s work. She recently started a collection of 7 volumes of Pessoa’s poetry and fiction, with the works “Livro(s) do Desassosego” e “Vida e obras de Alberto Caeiro”, published by the Brazilian publisher Global. As an essayist she has a vast work on Pessoa. She is a professor at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Since 1976, the year of her return to Lisbon from the exile in Paris, she is the director of IEMO, a team of scholars that study Pessoa and the modernists. IEMO is now an online magazine called Modernista.

She is also a poet and had published 8 books of poetry, including “Cicatriz” which has been translated into Spanish and French. Her poetry is included in international poetic anthologies (Italian, French, Spanish and Catalan). She has also published short stories and theatre, including Teatro Reunido, 2 volumes. Several of her theatre plays have been staged in Portugal and abroad. She wrote “Véspera de Partida” a theatre play about the life and legacy of Fernando Pessoa, published by SPA. She is the author of ``Les voyages de l'insomnique``, also about Fernando Pessoa, which was presented at Théâtre des Débardeurs, in Paris, in March and April 2016. The performance was widely acclaimed by the critic.

Teresa Rita was awarded with several prizes, including ``Prize of consecration`` of Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores, in 2011.

She is a partner of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences.
