Since 2005 he dedicated himself to study Fernando Pessoa's political and sociological writings. Luís Miguel Nogueira Rosa Dias was born where today is CASA FERNANDO PESSOA, in Lisbon, on the 1st of January 1931. He lived with Fernando Pessoa, his uncle, until the age of five.
Attended the first 4 years of schooling at the Queen Elyzabeth School (English).
Attended high school in École Française de Lisbonne (French).
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the School of Medicine of Lisbon (1958).
He is a Specialist in General Surgery and in Angiology and Vascular Surgery at the Civil Hospitals of Lisbon. He was one of the founders of Vascular Surgery in Portugal. For two years he was Assistant of Clinical Surgical at the School of Medicine of Lisbon (in Hospital of Santa Marta)
Luís Miguel is the author of the following books:

As a painter he had his work shown in several exhibitions.
He was invited to deliver a number of lectures on his uncle Fernando Pessoa in Continental Portugal and Madeira, and also in France, Venezuela, Germany and Brazil.
He was a member of a NGO of Health and Portuguese Language, in the islands of S. Tomé and Príncipe, a member the Association of Fernando Pessoa and a member of the a Psychedelic movement: “A OUTRA FACE DA LUA”
He founded two Rotary Clubs, one of which he was its first President.
Luís Miguel promoted the POETRY MEETINGS OF SANTA MARTA HOSPITAL and for 10 years was part of the Governing Bodies of the League of Friends of the Hospital Santa Marta.

In addition to the general course of secondary schools, she is fluent both in English and French. Due to a constant curiosity she attended numerous small courses: Short Stories course at the Regent Institute in London. Courses at the IADE Ceramics (Mestre Calado), Painting and Drawing (Mestre Lima de Freitas) and History of Art (Prof. Dr. António Quadros).
She worked as a freelancer in real estate for twenty-five years.
As a writer she is the author of several Short stories, Novels and Poetry books:

She collaborated in several newspapers and magazines. In March 1996 she organized at Casa Fernando Pessoa the exhibition “Uma memória familiar” (A family memory) about her uncle Fernando Pessoa.

She is the author of the essay Realidade e Ficção - para uma biografia epistolar de Fernando Pessoa, Lisboa: Assírio & Alvim, 2004.




In 1988 and 1989 co-directed the Associação Waldorf de Lisboa.
After a long research on Fernando Pessoa's estate in the National Library, Pedro Lencastre Teixeira da Mota published in 1988 and 1989 the “Agenda do Centenário de Fernando Pessoa” and “Livro da Sabedoria Portuguesa”, as well as four other unpublished books by “Fernando Pessoa: Moral, Regras de Vida e Condições de Iniciação”; “A Grande Alma Portuguesa”; “A Rosea Cruz” and Poesia Profética, Mágica e Espiritual.
He published in 1998 “O Livro dos Descobrimentos do Oriente e do Ocidente”, a book about the five hundred years of the Portuguese discovery of the sea route to India. Between 2003 and 2005 he was co-founded, with Sofia Costa Quintas and Célia Costa Cabral, the Livraria and Galeria Pessoas e Saberes, in Lisbon, where he held conferences and courses.
In 2006 published a commented translation of the Sanskrit text “Ashtavakra Gita” and in 2008, with Álvaro Pereira Mendes, he translated to Portuguese “Conversing with God”, by Erasmus of Rotterdam, published by Publicações Maitreya. Also in 2008 he collaborated with twelve entries to the “Dicionário de Fernando Pessoa e do Modernismo Português”, coordinated by Fernando Cabral Martins and published by Caminho.
In 2010 participated in the collective exhibition of fine arts entitled ``Love is Blind``, with manual artist books, in the gallery of Carlos Barroco and Nadia, Novo Século. In May of 2015 he published a book of thirty-three essays entitled “Da Alma ao Espírito” in Maitreya, a publisher from Porto, with manual artist books.
In June of 2015 co-write the preface of Fernando Pessoa’s poetry book “Mensagem”. The edition includes illustrations by 25 artists, was coordinated by José Maria Ribeirinho and it was published by Prelo Arte.
From 1994 to 2017 he has worked as a specialist of old books, cataloguing and commenting, in some Lisbon second hand bookshops and auction houses.
He has given numerous conferences on Spirituality.
He collaborated in newspapers and magazines, such as Público, Raiz e Utopia, Arte e Opinião, Nova Renascença, Arte Ibérica, Agenda Cultural de Lisboa, Singularidades, Ar Livre, Nova Águia, Artes e Letras, Transdisciplinar, Pessoa Plural (nº 9, Oriente).

He investigates the Perennial Tradition, the Portuguese Spiritual Tradition and the links between modern science and consciousness. He is also deepening his meditation practice and studying the mysteries of the human being, of the subtle Cosmos and the Divinity.



In recent years he has worked at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ICS-UL) on modernism in Fernando Pessoa (particularly in relation to his theoretical writings) and on the theory of secularization. With regard to these two scientific interests, he organized various academic events in Portugal and abroad, participated in international projects and published his research in academic journals and international publishers. He is directing the edition of the Complete Work of Fernando Pessoa in Germany (in Fischer-Verlag).
He is currently the executive coordinator of the Centre for Research in Theology and Religion Studies at Universidade Católica (CITER-UCP) where he researches on the relationship between modernism and religious transformations in the 20th century.

She is also a poet and had published 8 books of poetry, including “Cicatriz” which has been translated into Spanish and French. Her poetry is included in international poetic anthologies (Italian, French, Spanish and Catalan). She has also published short stories and theatre, including Teatro Reunido, 2 volumes. Several of her theatre plays have been staged in Portugal and abroad. She wrote “Véspera de Partida” a theatre play about the life and legacy of Fernando Pessoa, published by SPA. She is the author of ``Les voyages de l'insomnique``, also about Fernando Pessoa, which was presented at Théâtre des Débardeurs, in Paris, in March and April 2016. The performance was widely acclaimed by the critic.
Teresa Rita was awarded with several prizes, including ``Prize of consecration`` of Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores, in 2011.
She is a partner of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences.
